Hilton Resort Nairobi, the legendary town lodge, will conclude its operations forever on December 31, 2022, and fire an unidentified variety of staff soon after 50 decades of operations in Kenya.
A spokesperson of the lodge informed Business Everyday that they had experienced comprehensive discussions and concluded to cease operations.
The resort, in which the federal government has a 40.57% stake, explained the decision was affected by various components and not constrained to the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“COVID-19 made unprecedented challenges for our business. Having said that, the final decision to cease operations is not immediately connected to the pandemic,” the hotel’s spokesperson explained.

Nonetheless, Hilton designs to retain its other inns. It also strategies to deploy some of its employees to the other branches.
