Hey, it is been a though, hasn’t it? I really don’t feel I have created a website publish in a year or so. I hope you are all executing perfectly in these crazy occasions. As always, thanks for looking through.
I have a problem: What is your preferred U.S. National Park?
In excess of the earlier two decades, I’ve fallen in like with them.
Prior to the pandemic, I experienced only frequented a handful of them, mostly by accident. But at the time the pandemic strike, and it was risk-free ample to road-excursion, I drove all about the state viewing them.
Now I’ve found 15 out of 63. And sometime, I’d like to see them all.
Very first, there was Redwood Nationwide Park, with its towering trees and black-sand beaches…
Then Indiana Dunes, with its sprawling views of nuclear reactors…
Then Utah, home to some of the best countrywide parks in the state: I frequented Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion.
Right after Utah, I frequented Mammoth Cave (Kentucky) and Hot Springs (Arkansas), on the way to Austin, which is the place I reside now.
Then there was Big Bend, Texas. The night time sky is amazing there! You can see so several stars.
Adopted by Petrified Forest in New Mexico…
And most a short while ago, Glacier (Montana) and Grand Teton (Wyoming). Glacier National Park reminded me of Switzerland with its alpine valleys, purple wildflowers, and jagged mountains. I even saw mountain goats.
I feel so lucky that I have gotten to see so much of our beautiful region in the past couple yrs.
When I was young, I targeted entirely on global vacation (this web site is not termed Ashley Abroad for nothin’). But about the previous two yrs, I’m happy to report that I have gained a newfound appreciation for my personal backyard.
It turns out you do not have to fly midway all over the earth to go on an adventure.
As for my beloved? It is a two-way tie in between Redwood and Significant Bend.
How several nationwide parks have you frequented? Do you have a most loved?
(Here’s a comprehensive checklist in circumstance you’re curious.)
